Creative Writing with Anna S.

About the Class: Writing can heal. Participants will engage in several short writing exercises. No experience necessary. All are welcome.

About the Practitioner: Anna, a cancer survivor, is a bilingual writer (English/German) based in New York City. She has been teaching writing at the City College of New York for the past 18 years, has published poetry, short stories, features, and essays and is a staff writer for the New York City Jazz Record. Her essay “Mein Harlem” was selected as a notable essay for the Best American Essays 2008.
